Kerslash Toonami Intro

Posted by Celshaded - December 17th, 2012

*Edit: The internet makes it hard to tell if you guys are serious or not, but just to be clear this is a fake toonami intro that I made. The music is 'Iron Shadow' by emceewhate on Newgrounds: http://emceewhate.newgrounds.com/

I was planning on making this after I finished episode 2, but I couldn't wait. I like new Adult Swim version of Toonami, but I miss vintage Toonami.

Toonami can make any show seem hardcore, even Hamtaro. I won't go so far as to say, "cartoons these days suck!", because they really don't, but the presentation was definately better in my day</old man statment>

'THE GREATEST ACTION CARTOON EVER MADE!' I'm trying to take that title...

THE GREATEST ACTION CARTOON EVER MADE!' title is dragonballz and thats a huge goal with a lot of responsibility but you could have the greatest action cartoon ever to come to newgrounds! Your show is pretty beast so good luck. Rooting for ya

tooonami huh man I may not watch it on adultswim but man i sure do miss toonami it was a big part of my childhood i even have a youtube video showing the ending of toonami just so i can see it again although the last tom may have been vastly different than the original and the spaceship and toms partner ai gone it was still toonami and it will forever be a part of many peoples childhood honestly im sad that the next generation has to grow up without toonami

You had your work featured on old toonami? That's impressive.

I did notice that actually. Before in the old days they tried REALLLY hard to get you to watch shows. there where events and give away 's and marathons leading up to one show and they'd publicize them with commercials 2 weeks in advanced.(I think I knew the exact day and hour the teen titans movie was airing a week a head of time and started to prepare) Now they make like one commercial in the middle of the week that gives you a unenthusiastic synopsis and tells you it's airing at the same time it all ways does. or it's an extra half hour long. Or the first part is airing now and the second part next week. I liked it when they gave new stuff the (whats it called prime time?) prime time slot. You know push the reruns back a day. At least that's the impression that I get from watching only a little. In fact the only place where I can think to find that kind of pandering (is that a negative word because I mean it in a positive way) anymore is Toonami. Unfortunately I don't really care about Naruto uncut. I enjoyed the show when it was on and I feel new "mature" content may make... cheesy? I don't know maybe I'm just being paranoid. ..
WOAH I DID NOT MEAN TO MAKE THIS THIS LONG... guess I kind of broke into a rant there... sorry.

I liked old toonami too, but I seriously can't get enough of Steve Blum's voice.

I think my favorite era of Toonami was just before they went on hiatus when they had all these wacky ass shows like Bobobobobo and some really good ones like One Piece. God I wish they'd replace Eureka 7 with One Piece....

I guess i'm obligated to watch Kerslash now, since it's apparently good enough to be on vintage toonami. I'll let ya know what I think.

Pretty awesome. That takes me back to the good old days... ten, twelve years ago...

that would be awesome! toonami does rule. i say the best era was when they were showing shows like sailor moon, DBZ Reboot tenchi and stuff like that. Gundam wing was the best gundam series to me.
