I love this but I deducted half a star because you didn't include my favorite part of the song, that "HAAH...HAAAAH...HAAAAAH!" during the last punch before the song ends.
Good stuff man! I especially like the art style.
My one minor crit is the animation; I understand needing to keep the animation limited for time and I think you'd probably want to focus more on your timing than adding more frames to smooth things out.
I'm looking forward to seeing the next one!
You have a really great sense of timing and I especially love the movement of the zombie coming out of the ground. I think you need to have a better seperation between your backgrounds and animation just to help with the clarity. Also, I the parts that are referenced/rotoscoped stand out because it's so different from your natural sense of timing. I would suggest only using reference for your key animation and then inbetweening the rest the way you normally would to keep it from looking so obvious.
Thank you. I will surely correct the things in my next anim.
Love the overall presentation and how it skips episodes.
Also, that long cut where the hench guy is chasing Mako with the knife into the next room was awesome.
Can't wait to see more!
Great story and voice acting, you should remake this into an animated short.
Damn son!
The animation on Spike was excellent, he totally moves like that! (I just finished marathoning cowboy bebop) I'm not a fan of 60fps though, it looks like a cut scene in a game before a boss fight.
true dat. I like my lower fps. 60 just makes it look to video-gamey. Next project I'm working on will be more cartoony going back to 12-15fps.
Although maybe if I had more realistic models, it would be good if I ever do a final fantasy style animation
Not bad, storywise. I thought the pacing of the fight could have been faster though. Looking forward to seeing the next one.
Don't hate me cause I'm animated.
