What's up people! Just thought I'd pop in with my bi-quarterly reminder that I'm still alive.

Also still very slowly working on Kerslash. One of the reasons it's taking so long is because I've been developing a lot of supplemental shorts and comics to fill in a lot of the world building that was left out of the first 2 episodes. I've been calling these shorts "OVA's", but they're only going to be between 30 seconds and a minute long. So the format of Kerslash will go like this:

-Episode 1

-Episode 2

*mid season break*

-RECAP Short

-Kerslash Zero shorts

-World building backstory

-Episode 3

-Episode 4

So the overall gameplan is to do all that stuff and then recut Kerslash into a short film of some kind, with corrected/updated animation in the earlier episodes. And I'm not just doing it by myself this time around, so preproduction is kind of going at a snails pace. Coordinating money/payment, scheduling and just finding talent that can replicate my artstyle is what's been taking the most time. The art part is easy though, and I have a lot of rough animation I can't really show yet, It's just a matter of waiting for all the puzzle pieces to fall into place.

I realized I go through these long waves of not doing fanart, not because I don't like doing it, but I get so caught up in my own work I don't even think about it. I really want to get in the habit of doing fanart regularly, so here's a quick Lola Bunny to start things off.

I've been streaming at odd hours of the night, working on an short animated thing about Vampire Jubilee. Did you know Jubilee was a vampire?

I stream usually between 1 and 4 am. I'll try and switch to regular hours when my sleep schedule goes back to normal...

I got tired of how sad and mellow all the "lofi beats" mix's are so I made one of my own.

I call it HiFi Beats to get Hype to, hopefully it'll serve you as well as it serves me:

This is the first in a series of videos I'm doing about animating on paper in the present day. For people unable to get access to a tablet, but who still have a working computer with a scanner.

It's fun to go back and look at your old stuff with fresh eyes every once in a while, and experience it the way everybody else did.
