A long time ago I did a webcomic about a ninja girl attending an artschool called Kerslash. Because of circumstances beyond my control I was unable to continue working on it. But now I'm back to share this announcement:

I have an announcement to make. It's one of those good news/bad news things. The bad news is that I am discontinuing the Kerslash webcomic. To be honest, I haven't drawn a new page for it since october of last year.
The good news is that I've been spending all that time working on the first episode of the new animated web series instead!

I created this new series for all the fans that were left hanging during the first comic run. It pained me to have to walk away from that comic for so long, so I thought the best way to show my appreciation for the support you guys gave me while working on the comic was to take it to the next level and do what I was best at, Animation.

So this series is for all the fans, without you guys this series wouldn't be possible. Thank you again for your continued support and prepare to have your faces rocked.

It covers sketching, inking and some coloring in Paint Tool Sai with my 10 year old wacom tablet. I'll finish the coloring in the second part. Sorry if you don't like the explicit hip hop I had playing in the background, you can just mute the video and play your own music if you want :P

When I get a better mic, I'll start doing commentary while I draw these.

Just wanted to announce that my casting call has officially closed and that I have selected my cast for the upcoming Kerslash animated series.

I want to thank everybody that tried out. It was so crazy trying to sift through 55 submissions but we made it through and now we can get this show on the road.

I'm going to be redoing my old webcomic, Kerslash! into a flash animated series and I will be needing some voice actors not only for this initial episode, but for future episodes as well. Each episode will be between 3 and 5 minutes in length. It will be featured on NG and on my personal website. (and also possibly youtube)

I know it's been a while, but I've actually been busy working on a lot of freelance projects, so I haven't been able to work on my own projects as much. But I just wanted to announce that after I finish these last 2 freelance projects, I'll be shifting gears and working on my own original work and posting here a lot more often.

Also, I'll be posting some video content in my News section just to let you guys know I'm still alive. I started doing these live drawing and photoshop sessions. If you guys are into this sort of thing, I have more that I can post up in later journal entries:

So I noticed you guys taking an interest in the pics of the ninja girl with the hat. She's the main character of a webcomic I do called KERSLASH! you can check out her exploits at http://kerslash.rampagenetwork.com.

I don't have a comment box on there right now, but my forum on there is still active, so you can post feedback and art and stuff on there.

Someday, when I have more time I'll make a "flash reader" version of the comic and post it on here, but until then, please enjoy the kerslash website.
